Job Description
- Manage External Asset Management (EAM) Desk independently as a Relationship Manager to onboard regulated EAMs into Mashreq.
- Source new HNW clients through these EAMs by maintaining continuous meetings with them and their Relationship Managers.
- Enhance Private Banking book growth and revenues, and promote cross-selling of bank products to these clients through EAMs.
- Provide personalized service to clients to develop close relationships, maximize profitable contributions for the client and bank, and retain their loyalty and respect.
- Ensure clients are aware of all financial services offered by the bank's various departments, including TCM, Trade Finance, Mortgage, and Corporate Banking.
Responsibilities
- Identify suitable EAMs for onboarding, communicate with them, and execute agreements in compliance with regulations.
- Manage ongoing relationships with EAMs and oversee governance.
- Communicate effectively with HNW clients to structure advice based on their needs.
- Maximize the potential value of the client base through delivery of Private Banking products and services and actively seek new customers.
- Recognize opportunities to collaborate with other bank professionals to serve client needs and increase bank revenues.
- Safeguard the bank from potential losses, AML fraud, and ensure ethical behavior.
- Maintain the bank's reputation by ensuring ethical and professional conduct at all times before, during, and after sales.
- Achieve revenue, sales, and portfolio growth targets across various products and services, including Investments, Liabilities, FX, Insurance, and Financing.
- Provide a superior customer service experience, proactively addressing issues and maintaining ongoing client contact.
- Minimize customer attrition by maintaining proactive engagement with clients.
Qualifications
- Management Graduate in Sales, Marketing, or Finance.
- Strong numerical, sales, and investment/financial market knowledge.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity.
- Relationship management and networking skills; extroverted and amiable personality.
- At least 8 years of experience in a similar role at another bank or financial services company in the UAE, with certification from the SCA for selling investments.
