Mashreq seeks an Associate Director – Corporate Banking to expand in Saudi Arabia, originate new-to-bank corporate clients, and manage cross-border exposures across Mashreq's footprint. The role requires leadership across Corporate Banking, Risk, Compliance and Treasury to align strategies with evolving regulatory conditions.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years in corporate banking with deep Saudi market knowledge, a strong client network, and a proactive, collaborative approach to drive growth

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in corporate banking with exposure to the Saudi Arabian market and GCC region.
• Wholesale banking knowledge including corporate financing, trade finance, cash management, FX and derivatives.
• Solid credit risk assessment and risk mitigation experience.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong client-centric approach and ability to originate new-to-bank corporate clients.
• Adaptability to dynamic regulatory and market conditions.
• Extensive client network across global locations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proactive in delivering results and cross-functional collaboration.
• Analytical mindset with ability to convert market data into opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Drive origination of new-to-bank corporate relationships in Saudi Arabia.
• Coordinate cross-border exposure with ERM and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead regional portfolio coordination across Corporate Banking, Risk, Compliance and Treasury.
• Develop and refine the Saudi Arabia framework in line with market changes.
• Grow Mashreq's asset book in Saudi Arabia across sectors and products.
• Ensure risk and compliance within Mashreq's framework and approvals.
• Provide market insights to inform long-term strategy and competitive positioning.
• Regularly report portfolio performance and cross-border exposure to senior leadership.
• Foster daily cross-functional collaboration to deliver efficient client transactions.
