About the Opportunity

Our Strategic Consulting business is looking for an Associate Director to develop and write business advice from strategy to execution to help solve our clients’ most complex business challenges.

Jacobs’ Strategic Consulting team provides strategic advisory across all phases of the business lifecycle, informed by our operational knowledge and deep functional expertise. We support the full spectrum of client functions from executive leadership to project delivery and operations.

The selected candidate must have an excellent team-player attitude, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, mutual respect, and accountability. To thrive in this role, you’ll be self-motivated, inquisitive, and willing to challenge established practices. Your responsibilities include :

  • Leading technical projects in business strategies using tools such as project management, agile methodology, and risk management.
  • Coaching junior resources to analyze and translate large amounts of data into forecasts, plans, goals, and actionable insights.
  • Managing tasks and teams to execute project stream works within agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Leading engagement teams to provide high-quality strategies, operating models, and recommendations with commercial impact.
  • Identifying and addressing client needs through active participation in discussions and meetings.
  • Presenting complex business discussions confidently to C-level executives, stakeholders, and government authorities.

Requirements :

  • 15+ years of consulting experience in business strategy, transformation, value chain analysis, digital transformation, and financial analysis.
  • Strong academic background in business administration or finance; MBA or PhD preferred.
  • Experience in Project Management, Data Modelling, Financial Modelling, and Data Analytics Tools & Software.
  • Effective communication skills to lead and influence teams and decisions.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and mentor junior staff.
  • Experience in business development, proposal writing, or developing commercial propositions.
