Project Role
  • Responsible for managing all aspects of a portfolio of jobs as Project Manager in conjunction with a Project Director. On some projects, serve as the principal contact to clients as Project Director with only mentoring support from a Director.
  • Ensure job profitability.
  • Manage job cash flow.
  • Motivate and lead multidisciplinary professional teams to deliver client solutions.
  • Be commercially astute.
  • Be experienced and competent at presenting to clients, preparing proposals, negotiating fee proposals, and requesting additional fees where possible.
  • Construct project teams from internal and external resources.
  • Procure project resources.
  • Plan projects effectively.
Company Role
  • Hold regular team meetings.
  • Lead a team of engineers, supported by an associate, involving motivating, training, developing, and managing day-to-day work.
  • Ensure team profitability and resource planning and management.
  • Undertake six-monthly performance reviews for team members.
  • Develop and guide associates.
  • Apply policies related to health & safety, quality, and training.
  • Sign off timesheets.
  • Communicate the company's business plan, mission statement, and key challenges.
  • Be responsible for Quality Management (QA) for the team/department.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the business by developing company procedures and participating in task groups.
  • Authorize purchase orders and LPOs for equipment and services.
  • Be a champion in their specialist field.
  • Advise clients on engineering issues including concept design, buildability, construction techniques, detailed design, procurement routes, risk assessment, and claim assessment.
  • Prepare drawings, calculations, and models; review documents prepared by subordinates.
  • Possess detailed knowledge and competence in the design and delivery of internal training.
  • Have a detailed knowledge of analytical concepts and our delivery in CAD standards and 3D working.
QHSE Responsibilities
  • Understand, implement, and follow 9E QHSE policies.
  • Implement and coordinate QHSE procedures in your workplace.
  • Comply with local regulatory authority guidelines and laws pertaining to QHSE.
  • Report any QHSE incidents immediately to the 9E QHSE Department and to legal authorities if required.
  • Abide by client/contractor QHSE requirements and acquire site induction before mobilizing at sites.
