Associate - Delegate Sales
Job description
- Actively sell delegate passes for events, conferences, and seminars through outbound calls, emails, and virtual / in-person pitches.
- Identify and connect with potential delegates, including professionals, organizations, and associations relevant to event themes.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of leads to convert interest into confirmed ticket sales.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to use event promotions and customize sales strategies.
- Provide prospects with clear, compelling information about the event.
- Meet or exceed event-specific sales quotas for delegate attendance.
- Track sales progress using CRM tools, ensuring accurate records of delegate registrations.
- Offer feedback to event organizers on delegate needs and market trends to boost future sales.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience, preferably in delegate, event, or B2B sales.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle objections and close deals effectively.
- Experience using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of corporate training, events, or conference industries.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented.
- Willingness to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
