Job description

The Associate Consultant will be responsible for managing projects from initiation through completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This individual will play a key role in coordinating with internal teams, contractors, and clients, and will be instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery of large-scale projects across construction, infrastructure, energy, and commercial developments.

This is a full-time position based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Candidates must have full professional proficiency in Arabic and English.

Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of client engagement projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and industry best practices.
  2. Generate client pitch presentations, scope of works, and bid proposals.
  3. Complete vendor registrations and ensure full compliance with client requirements.
  4. Develop and manage project plans, client meetings, schedules, and budgets, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget constraints.
  5. Coordinate with internal teams, clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
  6. Identify, assess, and manage project risks, ensuring appropriate mitigation strategies are in place.
  7. Ensure compliance with local regulations and contractual obligations across all stages of the project lifecycle.
  8. Lead the preparation and presentation of project status reports to senior management and clients, highlighting key milestones, risks, and performance metrics.
  9. Administer project change control processes, ensuring any changes to scope, schedule, or budget are properly documented and approved.
  10. Monitor and control project performance by tracking progress, identifying variances, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  11. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, incorporating lessons learned from previous projects into future planning and execution.
Role Requirements:
  1. 2+ years of experience in project management within capital projects, construction, infrastructure, or energy sectors.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. PMP certification is preferred.
  3. Full professional proficiency in English and Arabic.
  4. Experience in managing projects from inception to completion.
  5. Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage teams and stakeholders.
  6. Proficiency in project management tools such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  7. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
  8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a client-facing role.
  9. Experience in the MENA region is highly desirable.
  10. Flexibility to work in an office environment, and to travel as required to client sites across the MENA region.
  11. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
  12. Commitment to continuous learning and staying current on industry best practices and methodologies.
  13. Willingness to work outside of normal business hours as required.
  14. This role is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE; candidates must be able to commute or be willing to relocate.
