Purpose of the Role:
The Brand Manager will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies across multiple therapeutic indications. This role is instrumental in ensuring alignment with AbbVie's global and regional strategies, driving portfolio growth, and maximizing patient impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Brand Management:
- Develop and implement brand strategies that align with the overarching portfolio objectives.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with the TA strategic lead to localize and execute global marketing initiatives.
- Marketing:
- Lead the development of marketing campaign materials and tactics.
- Ensure brand consistency across indications while addressing unique market dynamics and patient needs.
- Drive key initiatives in coordination with cross-functional teams.
- Build marketing materials and CLM content such as integrated safety analysis.
- Develop and execute end-to-end digital marketing campaigns focusing on customer engagement and business growth.
- Enhance peer-to-peer initiatives by tailoring content to stakeholder needs, ensuring compliance and regulatory adherence.
- Work closely with Market Access and Customer Excellence teams to develop value proposition marketing materials.
- Performance Management:
- Track brand performance against KPIs and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with Business Unit Managers to prepare long-range plans (LRP) and forecasts.
- Analyze marketing impact and adjust strategies to optimize results.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, and payers.
- Act as a key contact for cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across departments.
- Team Collaboration:
- Support other distributor markets by working closely with fellow brand managers.
Qualifications:
- In compliance with local employment regulations. This position is open to Emirati nationals only.
- 24 years of relevant experience with a proven track record in marketing within the biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
- Solid knowledge of strategic and tactical marketing principles, including digital marketing.
- Ability to translate strategies into actionable tactics.
- Excellent understanding of the healthcare environment in Iraq.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of governance models to track KPIs and achieve ROI.
- Proficiency in computer programs including spreadsheets and graphics.
- Good knowledge of financial principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
Adherence to COBC, FCPA, local laws, Pharmacy Syndicate regulations, and other authorities is required.
