Job summary

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Associate - Architecture Rail to join our growing team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will contribute to the design, planning, and development of rail infrastructure projects that support the region's transportation network. You will work collaboratively with experienced architects, engineers, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet industry standards and client requirements.

• Develop and prepare technical drawings, specifications, and architectural plans for rail infrastructure projects using CAD and BIM software
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to support project planning and design decisions
• Analyze rail system requirements and constraints to identify optimal architectural solutions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to ensure design alignment with project objectives and timelines
• Ensure all designs and documentation comply with relevant rail standards, regulations, and safety protocols applicable in the UAE and GCC region
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports and documentation for project stakeholders and regulatory authorities
• Support the coordination of design activities across project phases, from concept through implementation
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance project quality
• Maintain organized project files and documentation systems for easy retrieval and reference

Qualifications

• 15 years of professional experience in rail infrastructure architecture, transportation design, or related infrastructure projects
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation) and BIM tools (Revit, Navisworks, or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of rail infrastructure design principles, standards, and best practices
• Solid understanding of rail transportation systems, including track design, station architecture, and safety protocols
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to prepare and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents
• Familiarity with UAE and GCC rail standards and regulatory requirements (preferred)
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies (preferred)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work effectively in collaborative team environments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
