Job summary

UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) is seeking a NOTAM specialist to manage NOTAM preparation, database updates, and AIS quality tasks. The role supports 24-hour NOTAM operations and participates in AIS Safety Committee, ensuring procedures and records are maintained accurately.

You will handle NOTAM requests per ICAO regulations, maintain dissemination and LAISI procedures, and contribute to performance metrics through query management and statistical reporting.

Responsibilities

• Preparing NOTAM when requested in accordance with ICAO regulations
• Provide support for the efficient running of 24-hour NOTAM office
• Prepare and distribute NOTAM summary
• Maintain and update the NOTAM database
• Maintain the records of NOTAM requests and published NOTAMs
• Record queries related to NOTAM and maintained all related statistics
• Initiate, investigate and clarify queries received
• Participate as a member of AIS Safety Committee
• Update the LAISI with the latest and correct procedures
