Job summary

Aventus in Dubai seeks a Disputes Associate with 3-4 PQE to join its growing practice. You will handle international commercial arbitration, DIFC Courts litigation, and cross-border disputes within energy, commodities and transport sectors.

You will work closely with senior lawyers on high-value mandates, gain exposure to senior partners, and join an established international platform offering high-quality cross-border work.

Leading international law firm looking to hire a Disputes Associate c. 3 - 4 pqe into its growing Dubai practice.

The opportunity will offer exposure to a broad mix of complex international disputes, with a particular focus on matters arising across the energy, commodities and transport sectors.

The role will include:

• International commercial arbitration under major institutional rules
• DIFC Courts litigation and cross-border disputes
• Complex fraud and asset-related proceedings
• Sanctions-related disputes and advisory matters
• Acting on matters involving designated individuals and delisting applications
• Working with international corporates, energy and commodities businesses and high-net-worth individuals
• Direct involvement with senior lawyers on high-value, strategically important mandates

The firm is looking for an ambitious Associate around 3-4 PQE with strong contentious experience gained at a leading international / Legal 500 firm, with England & Wales / Common Law qualification. Experience in arbitration, complex commercial litigation and/or energy-related disputes would be particularly relevant.
