We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Vice Principal to lead behavior strategy and pastoral care for Middle and High School boys. About the Role

Reporting to the Vice Principal (Middle School), the Assistant Vice Principal is responsible for managing student behavior and promoting personal development among Middle and High School male students. The role involves strategic planning and implementation of the school's behavior framework, as well as day-to-day support of students through mentorship, discipline, and collaboration with families and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Uphold and promote the school's vision, values, and high expectations for student conduct and achievement.
  2. Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive behavior strategy in line with school policies and development plans.
  3. Monitor behavioral trends using data-driven approaches and adjust strategies as needed.
  4. Provide immediate support for managing behavioral incidents and de-escalation.
  5. Offer targeted mentorship to students facing behavioral challenges.
  6. Collaborate with educators, counselors, and parents to design and implement individual support plans.
  7. Conduct training and workshops for staff and students on behavior management, leadership, and conflict resolution.
  8. Foster a respectful and inclusive school culture that aligns with Emirati values.
  9. Support performance monitoring, evaluation, and development of staff as part of the leadership team.
  10. Participate in the planning and evaluation of the school's development goals and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications and Attributes
  1. Proven experience in a senior leadership or pastoral care role within a school environment.
  2. Strong understanding of adolescent development, particularly in boys' education.
  3. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to lead with empathy, fairness, and integrity.
  5. Commitment to upholding high professional and ethical standards.
  6. Familiarity with the UAE educational landscape and cultural context is preferred.
  7. Arabic speaker.
