Responsibilities:
- Ensuring highest retention of renewals in the Motor, Non-Motor and EB department, ensuring all procedures of the renewal are complied with.
- Servicing key accounts, retaining renewals, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Identifying opportunities for cross-sell/up-sell and providing clients with proper advice and options on covering their risks.
- Providing best customer service and technical support to all customers and the team.
- Developing excellent relationships with insurers at all levels to achieve corporate objectives and obtain regular market intelligence.
- Assisting the Branch Manager in setting up systems and procedures to improve departmental efficiency and reviewing existing procedures.
- Ensuring accuracy in checking policy documents and releasing them on time.
- Supporting the Marketing team as required.
- Training the immediate team on job requirements and monitoring their progress regularly.
- Promoting teamwork and high motivation levels among employees.
- Performing any other assigned functions such as specific projects, business development activities, portfolio reviews, recruitment, or additional responsibilities.
- Ensuring compliance with audit guidelines.
- Updating technical and market knowledge on all areas of insurance handled by self and team.
- Ensuring high levels of systems efficiency and professionalism.
- Adhering to agreed SLAs.
Desired Candidate Profile:
At least 5-8 years in a managerial position and over 12 years of experience in the insurance industry (UAE), preferably with an insurance broker.
Insurance-related certifications are required.
