Job Title: Assistant Vice President – IT Service Management

Job Purpose:
Lead the delivery and transformation of IT service management across EKFC, driving agile project execution, IT governance, and digital transformation initiatives. The role focuses on aligning enterprise-wide IT systems and automation platforms with business strategy, ensuring continuity, cybersecurity, innovation, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and ensure the alignment of IT projects (HCM, ERP, etc.) and business-specific technology projects with organisational goals to drive successful project planning and delivery.
- Implement Agile methodologies and ensure high-quality project delivery through rigorous quality assurance processes.
- Define & design an applicable IT governance model tailored to the projects to ensure that they meet business needs and expectations.
- Evaluate and approve technology solutions that align with project goals and business needs.
- Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams and stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver tailored solutions that ensure alignment and successful project execution.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement by mentoring team members, promoting professional development, and ensuring the team has the necessary skills and resources to succeed.
- Stay updated on industry trends, exploring new technologies and methodologies to bring innovative ideas to the organisation.
- Develop and execute plans, set goals and KPIS to track IT project success.
- Monitor and mitigate technical challenges & external risks , through incorporation of regular monitoring, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies throughout the project's lifecycle.
- Champion process enhancements and standardisation across business units for better technology deployment.
- To oversee IT service management and portfolio of projects, the role will serve as a key business partner, building trusted relationships across the business, aligning technology initiatives with company goals, and driving stakeholder engagement to shape EKFC’s digital roadmap.
Job Context:
This role is central to EKFC’sdigital transformation journey, responsible for replacing legacy systems, adopting modern cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), and leading strategic IT initiatives that future-proof business operations and elevate operational performance.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (mandatory)
- MBA preferred
- ITIL Certification required
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of demonstrated experience in a leadership position with preferably as an IT Head Project / Program Management, Service Delivery and Portfolio Management in a large or medium-sized company.
- Prior experience with ERP/Oracle.
- Experience with big data analytics, ML/AI, business intelligence, and automation technologies.
Skills:
- Expertise in managing IT projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing. Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
- Ability to drive innovation within the IT department by exploring new technologies and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Strong skills in engaging with business leaders, department heads, and external partners to understand their needs and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Experience in coordinating with various stakeholders, facilitating regular meetings, providing updates on project progress, and addressing concerns.
- Proficiency in automation tools and technologies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Experience and familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and their application in IT projects.
- Understanding of security best practices and regulatory compliance requirements to ensure data security and privacy.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) to streamline project delivery processes.
- Proficiency in implementing Agile methodologies to enhance project delivery, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to changing requirements.
- Strong leadership, influencing and management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
