Job Title: Assistant Technical Inspector

Business: Vehicle Testing and Registration

Job Purpose: Under the general supervision of the Technical Inspector, the Assistant Technical Inspector is responsible for the conscientious testing of vehicles in accordance with the working procedures laid down and RTA parameters.

Principal Accountabilities:

1. Receive vehicle from customer at the test bay
2. Conduct Brake and Emission test as per Tasjeel/RTA testing procedure
3. Carry out proper Technical Inspection with responsibility and as per vehicle testing parameters from Tasjeel and RTA
4. Maintain test lanes and equipment in good condition

Additional Principal Accountabilities:

Experience:

1. Technical diploma/certificate in automobile technology
2. Minimum 2 years experience as a technician/mechanic in a professionally managed automobile workshop
