Job summary

Ali & Sons Marine Engineering Factory (ASMEF) is hiring an Assistant Storekeeper to support parts and warehouse operations at Al Ain, UAE. The role includes stock receiving, storage, inventory control, parts ordering, documentation, and maintaining organized records in SAP.

You will assist with daily store activities, verify inbound parts against invoices, report variances, and help with stock counts while ensuring compliance with SOPs and dealer standards.

Qualifications

• High School certificate or Diploma.
• Minimum 2 years in storekeeping/warehouse.
• Experience in automotive dealership or parts environment preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge and SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Storekeeper in managing daily parts store and warehouse operations.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts against supplier invoices and documents.
• Report damaged, missing, or discrepant stocks and assist with related claims.
• Prepare and follow up on stock, VOR, STO, and local purchase orders.
• Coordinate with the PDC, Inventory Controller, freight forwarders, and other relevant parties on parts orders and shipments.
• Ensure accurate receiving, issuing, and recording of parts in SAP and physical inventory.
• Maintain proper warehouse locations, bin identities, and stock records for easy tracking.
• Assist with receiving and dispatching shipments and maintain required inward and outward records.
• Conduct periodic inventory counts and report stock variances, slow-moving, and defective parts.
• Ensure the warehouse, shelving, equipment, and stock are clean, organized, and secure.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, dealer standards, and warehouse procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the National Parts Manager.
