Wynn Al Marjan Island seeks an Assistant Stewarding Manager to lead the Kitchen Stewards team within a premier UAE resort. You will partner with the Stewarding Manager to ensure pristine cleanliness, safety, and regulatory compliance across outlets and banquet services.

The role requires 5+ years in a leadership capacity in luxury hospitality, with at least 2 years in stewarding operations, strong English communication, and familiarity with payroll systems like Time Manager.

Qualifications

• Secondary schooling completed; higher education is an asset.
• Minimum age 21 years due to gaming operations.
• 5+ years in a leadership role in a 5-star hotel or integrated resort, with 2+ years in stewarding operations across multi-outlet environments.
• Knowledge of handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.
• Proficiency in MS Office and hotel operating systems.
• HACCP certification is an advantage; ServeSafe is an advantage.
• Basic food safety knowledge is compulsory.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Physically fit for cleaning high areas, heavy lifting, and large equipment.
• Fluent English; other languages are a plus.
• Experience with payroll systems such as Time Manager or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Assist Stewarding Manager in planning and overseeing kitchen cleanliness and sanitation.
• Schedule and conduct daily kitchen inspections for health and fire compliance.
• Oversee maintenance of banquet equipment, both stationary and portable.
• Maintain inventory control and procure equipment within budget.
• Assist outlets with setup and teardown.
• Handle administrative duties and staff scheduling.
• Provide supervision and leadership to Stewards; cover in manager’s absence.
• Support banquet plate-ups, transport, and stock items; coordinate with departments.
• Schedule rosters to align manpower with business needs.
• Promote a safe, valued, inclusive work environment and interact professionally with teams.
• Organize training sessions and refreshers with the Department Trainer.
• Adhere to policies and participate in recycling and cost-control measures.
• Conduct risk assessments and report findings to senior management.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
