Your day at NTT DATA

The Assistant Sales Support Administrator has entry level experience and typically operates in small operational environments, where the level of sales support required by the sales team is not intensive and does not require experienced skills.

This role acts as a support function to the sales team and assists members of the sales force by performing components of sales order related administration.

What you'll be doing

Key Responsibilities :

1. Assists with operational sales effectiveness by establishing relationships with vendors and coordinating everyday interactions, queries and general information sharing with them.
2. Under close supervision, provides quotes for clients either from direct requests or on behalf of the Sales team.
3. Provides support with checking quotes against raised orders to ensure that what has been ordered has been quoted and that the correct terms and conditions have been applied.
4. Assists with obtaining information on the most current vendor pricing in conjunction with commercial colleagues.
5. Administers general sales related documentation through receiving, labelling, sorting, filing and distributing as required.
6. Captures data and maintains systems as required by the sales process and sales team.
7. Provides basic administrative support to the sales force when required.
8. Performs any other related task as required.

Knowledge and Attributes :

1. Displays some detail orientation and is organized.
2. Displays some entry level ability to work in a high paced environment.
3. Entry level analytical ability.
4. Good communication skills both verbal and written.
5. Must be service oriented and have a great attitude.
6. Entry level knowledge and understanding of sales processes, tools and methodologies would be advantageous.
7. Able to work in a team and follow work procedures accurately.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications :

1. High / Secondary School diploma or equivalent qualification.

Required Experience :

1. Entry level experience with quoting tools would be an advantage.
2. Basic administration experience, particularly quote to cash processes.
