Assistant Sales Manager - CNG Cylinder or Engineering Products

All Middle East Europe and Americas commercial and manufacture operations of Client Group are conducted by Client located in the Jebel Ali Free zone of Dubai United Arab Emirates. Assistant Sales Manager position is for an energetic relationship builder, sales-oriented, results-focused, responsible person with commercial skills and engineering knowledge preferred for the position.

1. Directly reports to Business Manager & Commercial Director
2. Handling Sales & Marketing activities of Client company for defined products and territory
3. New Business and account development
4. Managing and retaining Existing Business
5. Meeting set sales targets
6. Coordinating sales and marketing activities and promotion with lead customers and dealers/distributors of products
7. Direct promotion of products with specific objective of introducing and ensuring participation in all business segments such as: CNG distribution companies, CNG Station companies, CNG Conversion workshops, Industrial gases production companies and distributors
8. Handling administrative work for coordination with branch offices in allocated territories
9. Produce specific benchmarking and competitor information as well as recommend strategies to be ahead of and counter activities by competition brands
10. Preparing business plans, forecast reports, and marketing strategy per period as defined by management
11. Ensure permanent report and feedback of all business results and commercial activities (daily, weekly, monthly, or as defined by management)
12. Manage and perform specific activities as defined by management

1. Graduate or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial preferred but not limited)
2. Post Grad diploma in Management is preferred but not limited
3. The candidate should have some or all of the following traits: dynamic, energetic, relationship builder, sales-oriented, results-focused, responsible, self-motivated
4. English should be spoken and written for proper periodical reporting to head office
5. Male or Female, no gender preference

1. Minimum 6 to 8 years in sales and marketing of engineering-related products with a reputed company
2. Preference would be given but not limited to commercial experience in High Pressure Gas cylinders, CNG Cylinders, Oil & Gas sector, energy, or automobile products

Preference for candidates starting on 32 years of age. Candidates having more experience and age will also be considered, and special terms could be proposed if the position search produces results of higher value to the company.

Dubai U.A.E. Job will involve regular touring in the allocated territory.

Company will offer monthly all-inclusive total gross salary of AED 5000 to 7500 per month (excluding annual benefits as per company rules) to be defined upon the qualification and experience of the candidate. This value is a lump sum to include all taxes and expenses required by local employment laws and regulations. Travelling expenses and other expenses for travel out of location city will be paid at actuals as per the company set max.
