Job description

All Middle East, Europe, and Americas commercial and manufacturing operations of Client Group are conducted by Client located in the Jebel Ali Free Zone of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Assistant Sales Manager position is for an energetic, relationship-building, sales-oriented, results-focused individual with commercial skills and engineering knowledge preferred.

Reports to: Business Manager & Commercial Director

  1. Manage sales & marketing activities of the Client company for defined products and territories.
  2. Develop business and accounts, and retain existing business.
  3. Set sales targets and coordinate sales and marketing activities, including promotion with lead customers and dealers/distributors.
  4. Promote products with the objective of introducing and ensuring participation across segments such as CNG distribution companies, CNG station companies, CNG conversion workshops, industrial gases production companies, and distributors.
  5. Coordinate administrative work with branch offices in allocated territories.
  6. Produce benchmarking and competitor information and recommend strategies to stay ahead of competitors.
  7. Develop business plans, forecast reports, and marketing strategies as defined by management.
  8. Provide regular reports and feedback on business results and activities (daily, weekly, monthly, or as required).
  9. Perform additional activities as directed by management.
Qualifications and Traits
  • Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial preferred, but not mandatory).
  • Graduate diploma in Management is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Traits: dynamic, energetic, relationship builder, sales-oriented, results-focused, responsible, self-motivated.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written communication for proper reporting to head office.
  • No gender preference.
Job Experience

6 to 8 years in sales and marketing of engineering-related products with a reputed company, with experience in high-pressure gas cylinders, CNG cylinders, oil & gas sector, energy, or automobile products.

Age Limit

Preference for candidates starting at 32 years of age. Candidates with more experience and age will also be considered, with potential for special terms if higher value to the company.

Location

Dubai, UAE. The job involves regular touring within the allocated territory.

Salary Package

The company offers a monthly gross salary of AED 5,000 to 7,500 (excluding benefits), based on qualifications and experience. Travel expenses will be reimbursed as per actuals within set limits.
