A leading company in the fire protection sector is seeking an Assistant Manager - Sales (Maintenance) in Abu Dhabi. Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager - Sales (Maintenance) is responsible for driving business growth in the maintenance department of Fire Equipment Division (FED) in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on securing Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC), fit-out, refurbishment, and repair services for f ire protection and detection systems. The candidate will manage client relationships, develop sales strategies, and ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi Civil Defense (ADCD) regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
• Develop and implement sales strategies to grow the maintenance business.
• Identify and pursue new opportunities for AMC, fit-out, refurbishment, and repair services.
• Generate inquiries, prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts to close deals.
• Work towards achieving assigned sales targets and revenue goals.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and business opportunities.
Client & Consultant Engagement:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with facility managers, property developers, consultants, and contractors.
• Conduct product and service presentations to showcase Aikah’s expertise in fire system maintenance.
• Attend client meetings, site visits, and industry networking events to generate business leads. Project Coordination & Compliance:
• Ensure all maintenance contracts comply with ADCD regulations and NFPA standards.
• Work closely with the maintenance and technical teams to ensure smooth execution of contracts. • Address client concerns and provide technical solutions related to maintenance services. Reporting & Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of sales, client communications, and project pipelines.
• Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the management team.
• Track and follow up on payments and ensure timely collections.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical/Electrical).
• Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of sales experience in the UAE fire protection industry, with at least 3 years in Abu Dhabi.
• Strong understanding of Fire Protection & Detection systems
• Knowledge of ADCD regulations and NFPA standards is mandatory.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and CRM tools.
• UAE Driving License is a must.
Preferred Skills:
• Existing network with Facility Managers, Property Developers, Consultants, and ID Contractors in Abu Dhabi.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to business challenges.
