Job Description:

1. Assist in the setup and operation of the rewinder machine to ensure smooth and efficient production.
2. Monitor the rewinding process to maintain quality standards and minimize waste.
3. Inspect paper rolls for defects and ensure proper alignment during rewinding.
4. Operate and adjust tension control, slitting knives, and core placement as required.
5. Perform routine checks and report any mechanical issues to the maintenance team.
6. Ensure proper labelling, tagging, and documentation of finished rolls.
7. Assist in roll changeovers and core loading to maintain continuous operation.
8. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the rewinder area.
9. Follow all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
10. Work closely with the main operator to optimize production efficiency.
11. Ensure compliance with production schedules and quality requirements.
12. Adhere to all environmental policies by reducing waste, saving energy, and maintaining a clean work environment as outlined in the company's integrated management system.
13. Perform minor troubleshooting and assist in machine adjustments.
14. Record operational data and report any discrepancies or issues.
15. Immediately inform my supervisor of any hazardous situations, incidents, or injuries.
