As the Assistant Manager in Leasing, you will be a key player in driving the success of the leasing department. This role requires a dynamic professional with a strategic mind-set, strong leadership skills, and a comprehensive understanding of leasing processes.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Tenant Acquisition: Actively market and promote RAK Properties projects, targeting various property types (Shops, Offices, and Residential Units) to attract renowned and potential local brands in alignment with leasing strategy and tenant mix.
Conduct informative property tours for prospective tenants.
Provide a weekly targeted tenants list with updated status.
Input prospective leads, client details, and lead sources into the CRM system.
Conduct follow-up activities with customers to establish positive relations.
Manage all incoming lease leads and close new deals in line with approved lease targets.
Actively identify and attract potential tenants and brands for various property types on a regular basis.
- Lease Negotiation and Documentation: Advise and guide new tenants through the lease process, municipal lease attestation, and utility connection.
Effectively explain lease and community policies to new and existing residents.
Obtain and ensure accuracy of all required paperwork, entering information into relevant systems.
Prepare leasing offers and forms, sending them to tenants.
Negotiate lease terms and conditions with prospective tenants.
Prepare and review lease agreements, ensuring compliance with company standards.
Collect all payments (Security Deposit, Rent, Service Charges, etc.).
Arrange municipal lease attestation for new leases.
Submit complete files and payments to finance for processing.
Prepare and coordinate premises handover with facilities to the tenant, ensuring clarity of the handover process.
Actively identify and attract potential tenants and brands for various property types on a regular basis.
- Tenant Relations: Foster positive relationships with existing tenants to enhance satisfaction and retention.
Address tenant inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
Provide high-quality services to tenants to increase customer satisfaction.
Ensure consistent high occupancy levels for all leasing categories, including Shops, Offices, and Residential units, on a quarterly basis.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about local real estate market trends and competitor activities.
Conduct market research to determine competitive rental rates and property features.
Engage in extensive networking within the community to generate leads in allocated areas.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leasing activities.
Collaborate with the administrative team for seamless leasing processes.
Ensure all slots given to leasing executives on property marketing sites have updated information, reviewed weekly.
Follow up on cases with legal or finance departments and be the primary contact with tenants in all communications unless advised otherwise.
- Work closely with all company departments, including property management, facility management, and marketing teams, to optimize property performance and exposure.
- Make recommendations to management for improvements in community operations.
- Report issues noted in vacant units to the Line Manager and Facility Management.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including brokers and real estate agencies, to conclude brokerage agreements and build strong relationships.
- Undertake additional tasks assigned by the department head relevant to the position.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, rules, and procedures related to Health, Safety, and Environmental Management.

Requisite Qualifications:
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field.
- Proven experience in leasing or real estate preferred.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Familiarity with leasing regulations and legal documentation.
- Proficient in leasing management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
