A leading company in the F&B industry is seeking a Restaurant Manager to oversee operations in Dubai. The ideal candidate should possess over 3 years of experience in culinary management and a strong understanding of food legislation and quality standards. Responsibilities include managing staff, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and maintaining high service levels.
Assists the Restaurant Manager in developing and formulating the store’s annual business plan.
Replaces the Restaurant Manager during vacations and leaves, overseeing the store’s overall activities.
Covers for floor supervisors during emergency vacations and ad-hoc leaves.
Observes compliance with the company’s policies, procedures, and governmental laws and regulations.
Supervises the opening & closing of the store.
Ensures proper cleaning and lighting of all store areas.
Supervises daily checks on store machinery and equipment.
Maintains safe working conditions for employees and customers, resolving safety concerns promptly.
Ensures proper appearance and grooming of staff members.
Assists in implementing manpower retention plans and communicates recruiting needs to HR.
Coaches and trains employees to improve performance and achieve departmental objectives through on-the-job training and meetings.
Manages staff working schedules and establishes rotation schedules for new employees and trainees.
Motivates and develops staff for professional growth.
Evaluates employee performance and ensures timely reviews with HR.
Suggests salary reviews, personnel actions, and promotions to the Restaurant Manager, providing feedback to employees.
Maintains discipline and administers corrective actions through reports to HR via the Restaurant Manager.
Handles guest problems and complaints, seeking feedback on service quality and satisfaction.
Maintains an efficient ordering system for supplies.
Assists in executing physical inventories with the storekeeper.
