Job Description
A little taste of your day-to-day
Your role will include but not be limited to:
- Assist in planning, assigning, and managing daily restaurant activities to ensure optimal staffing and smooth operations
- Support the development and performance management of restaurant team members through coaching, training, and regular feedback
- Train staff to deliver consistent service that meets hotel standards and compliance requirements
- Handle guest interactions by promptly addressing requests and resolving complaints to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction
- Oversee the cleanliness, maintenance, and operational readiness of all food and beverage equipment and facilities, including dining areas and banquet spaces
- Coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams to report and resolve any repair or upkeep issues swiftly
- Assist in managing inventory levels, ensuring secure storage, minimizing waste, and maintaining appropriate stock levels for food, beverages, and supplies
- Support the execution of food and beverage marketing initiatives and promotions aligned with hotel and system-wide programs
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and F&B Manager on menu planning, design, and new concept development
- Help monitor competitor activity and industry trends to recommend innovative service improvements and offerings
- Assist in preparing departmental budgets, monitoring expenses, and controlling costs related to food, beverage, and labor
- Work closely with the catering office to identify and capitalize on additional sales opportunities to maximize revenue
- Ensure all financial transactions, including credit handling, comply with hotel policies and security standards
- Participate actively in daily briefings, team meetings, and training sessions to promote communication and continuous improvement
- Support the F&B Manager in supervising restaurant supervisors and staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment
- Perform ad-hoc duties and assist in special projects or events as required to support overall food and beverage operations

Ideally, you'll have some or all the following qualifications and experience we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certificate or diploma from a culinary or hospitality school.
