Job summary

Daikan Izakaya, Yas Bay is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our vibrant team. You will support the Restaurant Manager in daily operations, staff management, and maintaining high service standards to deliver an exceptional dining experience.

You will train and mentor staff, manage guest inquiries and assist with inventory, ordering, and cost control while ensuring health and safety compliance and quality service.

As the Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests while assisting the Restaurant Manager in managing staff and maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Support: Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, including staff management, scheduling, and restaurant maintenance.
• Staff Training and Development: Support in training and mentoring new staff members, ensuring they adhere to service standards and protocols.
• Customer Relations: Build strong relationships with guests, addressing any inquiries, feedback, and complaints to enhance their dining experience.
• Inventory and Ordering: Help manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs to ensure the efficient operation of the restaurant.
• Menu Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of the menu, including food and beverage pairings, to assist guests with recommendations.
