Job summary

Emirates NBD in Dubai seeks an experienced Credit Analyst to support proposals and manage risk across SME and corporate facilities. You will ensure proposals align with bank policies and client requirements, coordinating with Relationship Managers, Credit, CRAD and operations.

Your role includes reviewing financial performance, covenants, and key credit risks, plus handling referrals for working capital facilities and overseeing asset portfolio matters such as insurance renewals and valuations.

Qualifications

• Proficient in financial risk assessment and credit analysis.
• Experience evaluating SME or corporate facilities.
• Strong knowledge of banking products and credit policies.
• Ability to analyze financial statements and identify credit risks.
• Graduate or postgraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and support credit proposals for new, enhanced, and renewed facilities in line with client requirements and bank policies.
• Coordinate with Relationship Managers, clients, Credit, CRAD, and operations teams to obtain information and complete documentation.
• Review financial performance, account conduct, AECB findings, covenants, approval terms, and key credit risks.
• Manage transaction referrals for working capital facilities and resolve queries relating to TFS, Factoring, and LBD.
• Monitor the assigned asset portfolio including covenants and the renewal of insurance, valuations, and mortgage documents.
• Prepare MIS and performance reports and support system migrations such as nCino.

• Around 5 years of banking experience preferably in SME or Corporate sectors
• Strong understanding of Credit & Risk parameters
• Knowledge of banking products, services & credit systems
• Ability to undertake financial analysis & identify risks in credit proposals
• Graduate or Postgraduate degree preferably in Business, Finance, or Accounting
