Job summary

NOV in Abu Dhabi is seeking a QC Inspector to support the coating quality department. You will perform visual, dimensional, and non-destructive inspections on coated components, measure thickness and adhesion, and document results to track non-conformances in the quality system.

You will collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot issues, assist in root-cause analysis, and ensure compliance with SOPs and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years in manufacturing or coating environments.
• Proficient with coating inspection tools and methods.
• English communication, reading and writing.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or API standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of hands‑on experience in manufacturing or coating environments.
• Proficiency with coating inspection tools (e.g., micrometers, coating thickness gauges, ultrasonic testers).
• Strong understanding of coating processes, specifications, and quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, work orders, and technical documents.
• Excellent critical‑thinking skills for problem identification and resolution.
• Effective verbal and written communication in English.
• Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration abilities.
• Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001, API standards) is a plus.
