Job summary

Durucooperation is seeking an Assistant Pump Operator in Dubai to support safe, efficient setup and operation of concrete pumping equipment on construction sites. The role emphasizes QHSE compliance and uninterrupted concrete placement.

You will assist with setup, inspection, maintenance, and coordination with pumps, foremen, engineers, and workshop teams to ensure smooth operations and adherence to project schedules.

Qualifications

• Secondary School qualification or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in concrete pump operations at construction sites.
• Ability to follow operational and safety instructions accurately.
• Physically fit and capable of working extended hours at construction sites when required.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up, operating, and dismantling concrete pumping equipment and placing booms before and after concrete pouring.
• Support the Pump Operator in inspecting the concrete pump before each operation to ensure safe and reliable working conditions.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and report equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Monitor pumping activities and promptly report equipment or concrete mix irregularities to the Pump Operator or Foreman.
• Handle tools, hoses, and accessories safely during pumping operations.
• Maintain housekeeping standards around the pump and work area.
• Comply with QHSE policies and site safety procedures.
• Coordinate with Pump Operators, Foremen, Site Engineers, Plant, and Workshop personnel for smooth site operations.
