Position Overview:
We are seeking an organized and proactive Assistant Project Manager to support our Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team. In this role, you will assist the Project Manager in overseeing various construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and according to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from start to finish.
- Support the Project Manager in managing project timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Monitor project progress and report on project performance to ensure alignment with client expectations.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication.
- Help manage project risks, issues, and change requests, ensuring that project deliverables meet quality standards.
- Assist in preparing project documentation, reports, and presentations.
- Attend site visits, project meetings, and client briefings.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably within a PMC environment.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and methodologies.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Preferred Skills:
- PMP certification or other relevant project management qualifications.
- Experience in large-scale construction projects.
