Assistant Project Manager (Infrastructure)

Dubai, UAE

Parsons is seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team in Dubai!

In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the successful management and delivery of complex infrastructure and urban development projects, working alongside a multidisciplinary team of professionals shaping the future of the region.

What You'll Be Doing:

  1. Assist in day-to-day project management activities, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and quality standards.
  2. Manage and control all project-related communications to ensure transparency, accuracy, and timely information flow across stakeholders.
  3. Coordinate and oversee all project deliverables, ensuring timely submission and adherence to contractual and technical requirements.
  4. Implement and monitor project quality management processes to ensure deliverables meet required standards and specifications.
  5. Prepare and maintain regular project reports, including progress updates, risk assessments, and budget tracking.
  6. Support stakeholder engagement efforts, ensuring that expectations are managed and communication is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  7. Provide direction and support to project team members, promoting collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing and delivering infrastructure projects, preferably in a multidisciplinary environment.
  3. Strong working knowledge of CAD, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and other engineering-related software tools.
  4. Demonstrated potential to perform in a lead capacity, with the ability to guide and coordinate teams effectively.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to a range of stakeholders.
  6. Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices applicable to infrastructure planning and execution.
  7. Strong organizational and time management skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  8. Knowledge of sustainability and environmental impact requirements in infrastructure projects.
  9. Familiarity with digital tools like BIM (Building Information Modeling).
