Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Project Manager for Infrastructure Design (Land Development) to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will support the planning, execution, and monitoring of infrastructure design projects for land development initiatives in the region.

  1. Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets for infrastructure design projects.
  2. Collaborate with senior project managers, engineers, and designers to ensure project objectives are met.
  3. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and propose solutions to keep projects on track.
  4. Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including contractors and government agencies.
  5. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, change orders, and status updates.
  6. Support the development of infrastructure design concepts and plans.
  7. Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental standards.
  8. Assist in managing project resources, including personnel and equipment.
  9. Participate in client meetings and site visits as needed.
  10. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for project management processes.

Qualifications :

  1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field.
  2. 3-5 years of experience in infrastructure design in land development projects.
  3. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera).
  4. Working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar design software.
  5. Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Proven problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  8. Effective time management and organizational skills.
  9. Knowledge of land development processes and regulations.
  10. Understanding of infrastructure design principles.
  11. UAE/KSA experience is preferred.
  12. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
  13. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
