Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Project Manager specializing in Commercial Refrigeration to join our team in ME based in Dubai. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and executing refrigeration projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage refrigeration projects, including remodeling and new installations, ensuring alignment with scope, timeline, and quality standards.
• Act as the single point of contact for all customer and site requirements, providing consistent and effective communication.
• Coordinate with supervisors, subcontractors, and customer representatives to ensure timely completion, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction.
• Plan and monitor project timelines, resource allocation, and material delivery schedules in collaboration with Application Engineers and Logistics teams.
• Conduct and lead project meetings to align all stakeholders and maintain visibility on progress, goals, and challenges.
• Perform detailed site surveys and regular visits to assess project progress, resolve on-site issues, and uphold safety and quality standards.
• Support system commissioning, testing, and final handover to clients, ensuring operational readiness and client confidence.
• Collaborate with Sales, Design, Engineering, and Operations teams to develop and execute integrated project plans.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential challenges and implement mitigation strategies.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and team members to support skill development and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project engineering, specifically in refrigeration systems.
• Strong technical understanding of refrigeration systems.
• Proficient in using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid UAE driving license, willing to travel for site support and customer visits.
• Gulf region experience is a strong advantage.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
