Oracle Fusion - PM - 6 Month Extendable Contract
Purpose
The role is responsible for driving the successful delivery of IT projects, with a strong focus on Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP (Finance, Procurement, HR modules), while also overseeing other enterprise technology initiatives. The IT Project Manager ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational goals, while continuously improving systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management: Develop and execute project plans, timelines, budgets, and success criteria; manage resources, schedules, and risks.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams (business, IT, vendors, Oracle consultants), run workshops and status updates, and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Business Analysis: Gather and validate requirements, analyze processes, and translate needs into functional/technical specifications.
- Solution Oversight: Oversee ERP configuration, customization, integration, UAT, and data migration, ensuring alignment with best practices.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure deliverables meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and support audit readiness.
- Reporting: Provide regular status reports, dashboards, and executive updates, escalating risks where necessary.
- Post-Go-Live Support: Manage smooth handover to support, gather feedback, and drive continuous improvement of ERP and IT systems.
- Other IT Projects: Lead additional technology initiatives beyond ERP using consistent methodologies (PMP/Agile).
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of IT/ERP project management experience, including 2+ years with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementations.
- Strong ERP business analysis experience (requirements gathering, process mapping).
- Proven track record delivering end-to-end ERP projects (initiation to post go-live).
- Broader IT project experience desirable.
