What We're Looking For

• A minimum of 10 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager in UAE with a degree in civil engineering
• Previous experience in 5-star hotels, luxury villas, and/or food and beverage projects
• Experience with fit-outs and interior works is preferred
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles
• Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
• Good knowledge of MS Office and construction/project management software
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• A team player with leadership abilities
• A hands-on attitude driven by a 'can-do' spirit

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, architects, etc., to determine project specifications
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
• Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
• Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment, materials) from start to finish within budget
• Plan all construction operations and schedule phases to meet deadlines
• Acquire equipment and materials and monitor stocks to handle inadequacies
• Hire contractors and staff, and allocate responsibilities
• Supervise laborers, mechanics, etc., providing guidance as needed
• Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and report issues
