Political Science, Junior Tenure-Track

NYU Abu Dhabi is searching for a new faculty member to conduct research and teach the next generation of global leaders. The Division of Social Science invites applications for a tenure-track junior faculty position in Comparative Politics / Political Economy. This position is open with regards to substantive and regional focus in these fields. We particularly welcome applications from female scholars as well as members of traditionally underrepresented groups.

Responsibilities

The position is a tenure-track junior faculty appointment in Comparative Politics / Political Economy. Responsibilities include conducting independent research, contributing to the teaching program, advising students, and participating in the academic life of NYU Abu Dhabi across undergraduate and graduate initiatives where applicable.

Qualifications

This position requires a Ph.D. in Political Science or other related field by August 1, 2026.

We seek individuals who have, or have the potential to develop, a strong record of scholarship and the ability to develop and lead high-quality research.
