Job Description

We are looking for motivated academics with a Doctoral qualification, teaching, research, and course management experience. Candidates should have published in high-quality journals, be committed to research, and develop links across campuses to enhance teaching and external engagement. Membership of the HEA is mandatory.

The ideal candidate will have experience in management courses and demonstrate research-rich teaching and professional practice integration.

Teaching areas include:

• Resourcing & Talent Management
• Enterprise Concepts and Issues
• International Business Context

Preference for UK HE experience and understanding of quality assurance processes.

The role begins on 25th August 2025. We offer induction, support for relocation, CPD, and a collaborative environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Teaching and assessment on academic programmes, supporting curriculum delivery and quality assurance.
• Developing teaching materials, reviewing course design, and supporting accreditation.
• Mentoring and supervising students, providing feedback, and supporting their development.
• Enhancing subject expertise and reflecting research developments in teaching.
• Building research in relevant areas, engaging with industry, and collaborating across campuses.
• Participating in recruitment, marketing, and university events.
• Performing administrative tasks and engaging in professional development.

Activities may evolve over time.

Essential Criteria

Education & Qualifications: PhD or equivalent in an appropriate discipline.

Experience: Undergraduate teaching, updating materials, research publications, supervision, funded projects, UK HE experience.

Skills & Knowledge: Fluent English, VLE skills, applying research to teaching, developing research portfolios, teamwork.

Teaching Experience: Course assessment development, engaging pedagogy, industry connection, analytics application.

Desirable Criteria

Qualifications: HEA Fellowship, professional memberships.

Experience: Postgraduate teaching, industry links, academic leadership, online materials, accreditation participation.

Teaching: Global teams, new course and program development.
