About the Role: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Product Manager to join our dynamic Product Development team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will support the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from research and planning to coordination, testing, and rollout. This role is perfect for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for creating innovative financial products that align with market needs and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Research and Development Support
- Conduct preliminary market and competitor research to identify customer needs and industry trends.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining product documentation, including concept notes, feature specifications, and product briefs.
- Provide inputs to support ideation and feasibility assessments of new product initiatives.
2. Operational and Cross-Functional Coordination
- Liaise with internal departments such as Legal, Finance, Sharia, Compliance, and Operations to gather insights and ensure alignment.
- Support the preparation of management presentations, product pipeline updates, and status reports.
3. Pricing and Compliance Assistance
- Collect and analyze pricing benchmarks to support pricing strategy formulation.
- Coordinate the documentation process to ensure compliance requirements are fulfilled under guidance from senior product managers.
4. Project and Process Management
- Maintain project trackers, timelines, and MIS reports related to ongoing product development initiatives.
- Assist in the testing and implementation phases of new product launches and updates.
- Collect, organize, and relay feedback to the relevant stakeholders post-rollout.
5. Team and Stakeholder Support
- Provide administrative support to senior team members, including the scheduling of meetings and preparation of minutes.
- Follow up on action items and ensure timely execution of deliverables.
- Coordinate with external vendors and partners as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in product development, financial services, or a support function in a regulated industry.
- Exposure to banking, insurance, or investment products is an advantage.
- Strong research, documentation, and coordination skills.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
