Confidential in Dubai seeks a detail-oriented Assistant Procurement Officer with 3-5 years in interior decoration, fit-out or construction to support sourcing, supplier management and timely delivery of project requirements.

You will coordinate with project teams, negotiate with vendors, manage purchase orders and maintain procurement records to ensure alignment with schedules and budgets. This role offers growth within a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years procurement experience in interior decoration, fit-out, or construction.
• Strong knowledge of fit-out materials and UAE-based suppliers/vendors.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement/ERP software.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate, and purchase fit-out materials including joinery, MEP items, finishes, furniture, and other project requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors in the UAE fit-out industry.
• Prepare and process purchase orders according to project schedules and budgets.
• Review supplier quotations, negotiate pricing and payment terms, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and design departments to identify material and equipment needs.
• Track deliveries to project sites and resolve procurement-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate, and purchase fit-out materials including joinery, MEP items, finishes, furniture, and other project requirements.

• Prepare and process purchase orders according to project schedules and budgets.
• Review supplier quotations, negotiate pricing, payment terms, and ensure cost-effective procurement.

• Maintain updated supplier databases, pricing records, and procurement history.

• Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of procurement experience in interior decoration, fit-out, or construction industry is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of fit-out materials, finishes, and UAE-based suppliers/vendors.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement/ERP software.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
• Immediate availability is preferred.
