What you’ll do:
Procurement Strategy:
- Develop and implement an effective procurement strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure procurement plans meet quality and budgetary standards.
Supplier Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers in Logistics on a 3PL, Lease, Freelancer model…. To handle all our Logistics Category.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
Project Coordination:
- Work closely with project managers and Logistics Team to understand project timelines and Trade Lane requirements.
- Coordinate procurement activities to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues that may arise during the procurement process.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage procurement budgets for Cost per Order Improvements in our Logistics.
- Conduct cost analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with relevant Labour laws, regulations, and company policies in all procurement activities.
- Maintain accurate and organized procurement documentation, including contracts, invoices, and delivery records.
Communication and Reporting:
- Provide regular updates to senior management on procurement progress, challenges, and opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration
- 5+ years of experience in Procurement Awarding, with a proven track record of successful contract negotiation and cost savings.
- Experience in Logistics or Manpower
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Fluency in Arabic is a must.
- Knowledge of local regulations and market dynamics in UAE
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel/Google Sheet
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Car License and Car is Mandatory
Location based:
- Work From Office (Dubai Head Office)
- Travel to Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, UAQ, Ajman and other cities will be required.
