OUR EXPECTATIONS FROM THE ROLE:

• Oversee the scheduling of Pilates group classes to optimize convenience for guests and clients.
• Ensure that instructors deliver classes that meet JW Marriott Marquis Hotel standards and the Body Base Formula.
• Conduct periodic performance evaluations of classes.
• Hold team meetings.
• Maintain courteous and friendly interactions with guests, attend to their needs, handle queries professionally, and ensure safety.
• Keep the club/studio in good maintenance.
• Enforce all club rules and ensure a safe environment for all users.
• Be aware of gym, health, and pool safety regulations.
• Ensure the gym/studio is clean according to JW Marriott standards and supervise the team.
• Report engineering faults and follow up on them.
• Complete and monitor checklists.
• Train and develop your team, including new staff inductions and evaluations.
• Check standards across the club and ensure compliance.
• Activate and manage club activities.
• Work closely with suppliers of retail products.
• Deputize for the Director of Recreation & Lifestyle as needed.
• Supervise department associates.
• Conduct appraisals and 1-on-1 meetings.
• Handle staff inductions and orientations.
• Ensure monthly PRs are completed within budget and follow up on purchases.
• Perform brand standards checks.
• Perform any other relevant tasks.
