Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Pharmacy, has knowledge of medicines, and demonstrates strong attention to detail and accuracy. UAE license eligibility and basic pharmacy software skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s qualification in Pharmacy or a relevant pharmacy-related field.
• Relevant pharmacy experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of medicines and basic pharmacy procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the licensed pharmacist with preparing and dispensing medications.
• Receive and review prescriptions according to established pharmacy procedures.
• Accurately arrange, label, and organize medicines and pharmaceutical products.
• Assist customers and patients with basic pharmacy-related inquiries under pharmacist supervision.
• Maintain proper stock levels and monitor medicine expiry dates.
• Receive, check, and organize pharmaceutical supplies.
• Ensure medicines are stored according to required storage conditions.
• Maintain accurate inventory, dispensing, and pharmacy records.
• Assist with billing and documentation when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area.
• Follow pharmacy policies, safety procedures, and applicable healthcare regulations.
• Report stock shortages, damaged products, or discrepancies to the responsible pharmacist.
• Support the pharmacist in maintaining high standards of patient and customer service.
• Handle pharmaceutical information and customer details with confidentiality.
• Perform other pharmacy-related duties as assigned by the supervising pharmacist.
