Job summary

A Group in Dubai is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support the pharmacist with daily pharmacy operations, inventory management, customer service, and administrative tasks in a busy healthcare setting.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail oriented, and able to work efficiently in a clinical environment. You will handle stock checks, receiving and storing medicines, assist with prescriptions and customer orders under supervision, manage billing, and maintain a clean, compliant pharmacy area.

Qualifications

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Pharmacy/Healthcare.
• Previous pharmacy or healthcare experience is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of medicines and pharmacy products.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• UAE healthcare/pharmacy experience is an advantage.
• Relevant UAE licensing or eligibility is preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist with day-to-day pharmacy operations.
• Receive, organize, and store medicines and healthcare products.
• Check stock quantities, expiry dates, and product condition.
• Maintain accurate inventory and stock records.
• Assist with preparing prescriptions and customer orders under the supervision of the licensed pharmacist.
• Handle customer inquiries and refer medication-related questions to the pharmacist.
• Assist with billing and basic administrative duties when required.
• Monitor stock levels and report items that need replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic pharmacy area.
• Follow pharmacy procedures, safety guidelines, and applicable regulations.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding deliveries and stock when required.
• Support the pharmacist in providing efficient customer service.
