The Assistant Pharmacist supports licensed pharmacists in dispensing medications managing inventory and providing customer service. This role ensures smooth pharmacy operations maintains accurate records and helps deliver safe efficient and high-quality pharmaceutical services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparing and dispensing prescription and over-the-counter medications

  • Help customers with medication inquiries under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist

  • Label package and organize medications according to regulations

  • Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking stock levels and placing orders

  • Receive unpack and store medication deliveries

  • Keep accurate records of prescriptions patient information and inventory

  • Support the pharmacist in compounding medications if required

  • Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws guidelines and safety procedures

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the pharmacy

  • Provide administrative support including billing record-keeping and data entry

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Diploma in Pharmacy Pharmacy Technician Certification or related qualification
