Assistant Parts Advisor Support Inventory Accuracy & Enhance Counter Sales Performance
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Parts Advisor to support parts counter operations and ensure smooth inventory management. The ideal candidate will assist customers and technicians with parts selection, handle documentation, and contribute to sales performance. This role is crucial for maintaining service excellence and operational efficiency in the parts department.
Key Responsibilities
Purpose
To assist the Parts Advisor in meeting the counter sales requirements and ensure that parts inventory and associated records are maintained appropriately.
Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Greet customers.
Advise on part numbers, prices, and availability.
Provide guidance on the use and care of parts and offer recommendations on specialized products or services.
Prepare parts estimates and quotations.
Follow up on credit terms and credit sales procedures for the Parts Dealers Network.
Understand and communicate Parts Return Policy, Warranty Policy, and Delivery timelines for both customers and technicians.
Prepare parts delivery orders and sales invoices.
Assist in designing and maintaining the accessories display.
Maintain a clean and organized working area.
Keep accurate sales records for inventory control and follow-up.
Operate computerized inventory record-keeping and re-ordering systems.
Prepare and track the Loss Sales Report.
Coordinate and follow up with the Ordering Section for customer-requested parts, ensuring timely delivery.
Perform other duties as requested by the Procurement & Stores Manager.
Requirements
Education
A Diploma in Material Management or a related area is preferred.
Experience
A minimum of 2 years work experience in a comparable working environment.
Languages
Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is preferred.
Software
Computer literate with strong skills in Computerised Warehouse Systems.
