Job Responsibilities
- Support the Outlet Manager in managing all outlets efficiently according to established concept statements.
- Ensure adherence to operating standards to achieve the service levels outlined in the Departmental Operations Manual.
- Assign responsibilities to subordinates and periodically check their performance.
- Assist in controlling requisitioning, storage, and careful use of all operating equipment and supplies.
- Participate in formulating the Annual Operating Budget, including projected revenues, expenses, and equipment needs, aligned with the Annual Business Plan.
- Ensure par stocks for all operating equipment and supplies are maintained and the outlet is adequately equipped.
- Assist in conducting monthly inventory checks on all operating equipment and supplies.
- Carry out inventory of operating equipment on a monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, and annual basis.
- Establish good rapport with guests, maintain customer relationships, and update guest history files.
- Conduct daily pre-shift briefings to Heartists on preparation, service, and product knowledge.
- Attend Daily Operating Meetings.
- Assist in planning and organizing festive food promotions within the outlet.
- Liaise with Kitchen and Beverage departments regarding daily operations and quality standards.
- Handle all guest complaints, requests, and inquiries related to food, beverage, and service.
- Be visible during peak times to support operations.
- Ensure strict adherence to cashiering procedures.
- Assist in revising and updating the outlet Departmental Operations Manual as needed.
- Contribute to the formulation of the Annual Marketing Plan, aligning marketing activities with the Business Plan.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the outlet, both front and back areas.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping and Stewarding Departments to ensure cleaning schedules are followed.
- Issue repair and maintenance work orders for proper outlet upkeep.
- Supervise Heartists, ensuring service standards and methods are maintained as per Manual.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and hygiene.
- Control operational budget, costs, and expenditures, ensuring compliance and approval.
- Participate in departmental Communications Meetings.
- Train Heartists to ensure they have necessary skills for maximum efficiency.
- Conduct performance appraisals for Heartists.
- Identify and develop young talents for future growth within the organization.
- Be flexible and willing to rotate across different outlets within the Food and Beverage Department.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Outlet Manager and Director of Restaurants.
