Job description

Job Responsibilities
  1. Support the Outlet Manager in managing all outlets efficiently according to established concept statements.
  2. Ensure adherence to operating standards to achieve the service levels outlined in the Departmental Operations Manual.
  3. Assign responsibilities to subordinates and periodically check their performance.
  4. Assist in controlling requisitioning, storage, and careful use of all operating equipment and supplies.
  5. Participate in formulating the Annual Operating Budget, including projected revenues, expenses, and equipment needs, aligned with the Annual Business Plan.
  6. Ensure par stocks for all operating equipment and supplies are maintained and the outlet is adequately equipped.
  7. Assist in conducting monthly inventory checks on all operating equipment and supplies.
  8. Carry out inventory of operating equipment on a monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, and annual basis.
  9. Establish good rapport with guests, maintain customer relationships, and update guest history files.
  10. Conduct daily pre-shift briefings to Heartists on preparation, service, and product knowledge.
  11. Attend Daily Operating Meetings.
  12. Assist in planning and organizing festive food promotions within the outlet.
  13. Liaise with Kitchen and Beverage departments regarding daily operations and quality standards.
  14. Handle all guest complaints, requests, and inquiries related to food, beverage, and service.
  15. Be visible during peak times to support operations.
  16. Ensure strict adherence to cashiering procedures.
  17. Assist in revising and updating the outlet Departmental Operations Manual as needed.
  18. Contribute to the formulation of the Annual Marketing Plan, aligning marketing activities with the Business Plan.
  19. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the outlet, both front and back areas.
  20. Coordinate with Housekeeping and Stewarding Departments to ensure cleaning schedules are followed.
  21. Issue repair and maintenance work orders for proper outlet upkeep.
  22. Supervise Heartists, ensuring service standards and methods are maintained as per Manual.
  23. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and hygiene.
  24. Control operational budget, costs, and expenditures, ensuring compliance and approval.
  25. Participate in departmental Communications Meetings.
  26. Train Heartists to ensure they have necessary skills for maximum efficiency.
  27. Conduct performance appraisals for Heartists.
  28. Identify and develop young talents for future growth within the organization.
  29. Be flexible and willing to rotate across different outlets within the Food and Beverage Department.
  30. Perform any other duties assigned by the Outlet Manager and Director of Restaurants.
