Job description

Job Description: Assistant Operator

The Assistant Operator shall provide assistance to operations as instructed by the Operator and Field Supervisor, carrying out all necessary tasks including but not limited to:

1. Ensuring that the Company policies and procedures in Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality are implemented.
2. Assisting the Operator in checking equipment for any damages that might have occurred during transit.
3. Rigging Up/Down all equipment as instructed by the Operator/Supervisor.
4. Assisting the Operator/Senior Operator in performing daily maintenance as prescribed in the maintenance manual and recording the activities in the maintenance file.
5. Maintaining good and healthy relations among all superiors, colleagues, and subordinates.
6. Ensuring proper maintenance of tools, equipment, and machines as per the instructions of the Operator/Supervisor.
7. Ensuring compliance with the work/leave schedule both on base and field operations.
8. Communicating with the Company representative, establishing immediate priorities, and implementing procedures to carry out the job safely.
9. Ensuring that the use of all expendables, materials, and supplies is efficient, and that these materials are kept in a secure and locked location.
