As the Assistant Operations Manager, you will oversee the movement, safety, and operational readiness of auction and managed vehicles, maintaining detailed records of these activities. You will also be responsible to cover, and not being limited to, managing branch operations of photoshoots, expenditures and process investigations.

In this role, you will:

  • Responsible for the maintenance, safety and movement of cars in our warehouse/locations(s).
  • Ensure adequate checks and balances are in place when checking in/checking out cars from our locations, and continuously audit the processes in place
  • Provide detailed Daily, Weekly, and Monthly reports on stored inventory, movements and spends
  • Keep a track of our spending using our financial instruments and build a budgetary report for every year
  • Implement and ensure adherence to the inventory/storage process for auction inventory.
  • Ensure adherence to processes for our Photography team for hitting daily targets of shoots and edits
  • Ensure auction inventory readiness according to the company standards for the transfer process.
  • Handle auction & manage logistics with relevant stakeholders for the purpose of transfers, inspections and delivery.
  • Maintain a detailed directory of cars that are stored in the company's warehouse/location (s).
  • Manage a team of Ops Executives, such as inventory controllers and branch support
  • Enforce policies and procedures, scale SOPs and ensure sufficient training is conducted on these regularly.
  • Upscale the capacity and maintenance of existing locations/warehouses and support in the sourcing of new locations
  • Undertake investigative responsibilities to look into escalations, complaints and process gaps


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in fleet management
