Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care to patients under the supervision of Registered Nurses and physicians
• Monitor and record vital signs including temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration
• Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare professionals and within the scope of practice
• Assist patients with personal hygiene, mobility, feeding and daily living activities
• Observe patient conditions and promptly report any changes to the nursing team
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
• Ensure patient rooms and medical equipment are clean, organized and ready for use
• Follow infection prevention and control protocols
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care
• Comply with healthcare regulations, policies and safety standards
