Job Summary:

The Assistant Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing the overall brand strategy, identity, and awareness for their assigned brand/brands, their locations, and the countries in which they operate. To grow, enhance, and promote the corporate identity of the Ethan Allen brand across all platforms by developing marketing & content plans and strategies that will result in revenue generation.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Grow brand presence through well-articulated and planned marketing & digital strategies.
  2. Plan, strategize, and execute marketing designs and activities to establish and maintain brand presence in the market.
  3. Develop effective brand, category, and product positioning in the market and create the necessary communication and content strategies to promote the brands and activities through all channels, utilizing the 360-degree marketing toolkit.
  4. Curate, deliver and support the generation of visual and written content (in digital, photographic, or video formats) for use in channels such as FB, IG, LinkedIn, AAE.com, Press, Visual Merchandising, and Influencers.
  5. Plan, organize, and implement events for all company brands for launches, new product introductions, and customer & media relations, including support for the events team.
  6. Create, implement, and measure the success of a comprehensive marketing strategy and a communications and public relations program that enhances the brand and/or company’s image and position within the marketplace and the general public.
  7. Increase the Revenue of the Company by developing marketing/PR activities via an annual marketing/PR/social media plan that effectively promotes the company’s products and services, delivering positive ROI within budget.
  8. Increase growth in Social Media by developing and implementing timely (monthly) social media calendars that effectively develop a relevant voice for the company’s brands and promote the company’s products and services.
  9. Lead digital experience and e-commerce across the marketing team:
    1. Own, on behalf of the marketing team, and use Facelift Cloud tool to its full capacity, including training the team constantly on updates and the most effective use of the tool as well as social and digital best practices.
    2. Own and lead the generation of all brands' social and digital reports on a monthly basis.
    3. Own email campaigns from design, content, and scheduling.
    4. Lead the development and maintenance of e-commerce and other digital initiatives within the team, developing fully functional corporate and brand websites for the company to ensure full online presence for brands.
    5. Increase PR coverage via PR strategies that effectively target key media in the market and maintain relations with key media through constant outreach programs.
  10. Develop the brand marketing strategy and calendar of activities that supports the overall achievement of business plan sales to the agreed budgeted levels.
  11. Liaise with 3rd party e-commerce sites to maintain smooth processes and relationships.
  12. Consistently explore digital opportunities and features to enhance online presence for all brands.
  13. Meet the timeframes and costs required to achieve budgeted sales and brand reach targets.
  14. Recommend new strategies and plans for continuous growth and manage monthly reports on results.
  15. Find opportunities to enhance our corporate and brand presence across all communications channels.
  16. Identify possible collaborations and partnerships that would add value to the brands.
  17. Manage agencies where used for specific stories and campaigns.
  18. Work closely with the design, marketing, and operations team to develop complete 360-degree marketing plans for assigned brands.

Job Requirements:

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in Marketing managing social media, PR, communications tools, brand marketing, and a minimum of two years in a digital/social role in addition to foundation level e-commerce/website management/agency management experience.
  2. Have a minimum of a university degree.
  3. Must have excellent communication and presentation skills in the English language, with Arabic as an advantage.
  4. Have strong organizational skills and team management experience.
  5. Must have a strong understanding of customer service.
  6. Excellent photography, videography, and copywriting skills.
  7. Strong presentation skills and verbal communication with good influencing skills.
