Description

The Assistant Manager for Trade Working Capital & Business Loans is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of credit administration activities related to trade working capital products and business loans within the Business Banking Group (BBG) vertical.

What You'll Do

• Lead multiple processes supporting customer fulfilment for credit administration, including documentation, limit loading, and disbursements.
• Monitor key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
• Develop cross-skilling initiatives to foster adaptability and continuous learning.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant banking laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Manage operational risks, identify potential risk areas, and implement solutions.
• Stay updated with regulatory changes affecting credit operations and limit management.
• Develop and enhance processes and systems for efficient limit management and service delivery.
• Utilize technology solutions to automate and streamline operations, reducing errors and increasing efficiency.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certification in risk management or finance is preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in credit operations, risk management, or a related field within the banking or financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of credit products, risk management principles, and regulatory requirements related to credit operations.
• Deep understanding of banking products within the assigned vertical.
• Proficiency in analyzing and generating data/reports/insights.
• Familiarity with banking systems and technology integration.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
